Shipping & Returns

Domestic Shipping

Calexico offers free EXPRESS shipping and returns to all customers within Australia. We use the Australia Post next-day delivery service, however this applies to Australian metro areas only. If you order by 12pm, and you live within an Australian metro area, you are expected to receive your item the next day. To check if you postcode applies to this service, please check here.

International Shipping 

For international customers, there is a $50 EXPRESS shipping delivery fee, AND $20 EXPRESS shipping delivery fee to customers within New Zealand. For returns and exchanges, the shipping fee is the responsibility of the customer returning the item. 


For Australian customers, we offer free returns, however you must attach a proof of receipt for shipping from an Australia Post service to which you will be refunded. 
 

Online Returns Policy

Please note: The online return and exchange policy applies for online e-boutique purchases only and does not apply for any purchases made in the Calexico retail store. If you have any enquires regarding our in-store returns policy please doesn’t hesitate to email: shop@calexico.com.au

Calexico is happy to offer an exchange between sizes or a full refund on purchases that are unworn and in same condition (excluding sale or promotional items) within 7 days of receipt of your order. The following conditions apply:

•   Merchandise must be returned to Calexico within 7 days.

•   Return address is: 7/46 James Street, Fortitude Valley, QLD, 4006, Australia.

•   All items must be in new & unused condition with all tags attached.

•   Unless faulty, we do not exchange or refund lingerie or pierced jewellery for hygienic reasons.

•   Shoes must be returned in its original packaging and designer box. It is advisable that you try on new shoes on a carpeted surface, as we will not accept returns or refunds if the soles have any signs of wear.

•   All returns and exchanges will not be processed until the product is returned to Calexico.

•   Calexico offers free returns on domestic Australian orders ONLY. The amount of shipping will be refunded once an enclosed receipt with shipping amount is received with the package from a valid Australia Post business. If there is no receipt enclosed, we cannot offer a refund of the shipping amount. 

•  Calexico will refund small and medium parcel post packages ONLY. This is a small single 500g package for $8.50 for all small accessories and medium 3kg package for $13.80 for all shoes and hats. If your product is larger and exceeds this amount, please email customerservice@calexico.com.au for your options. 

•  Calexico is not responsible for items that are returned without a tracking number. It is your responsibility to keep a record of your tracking number in the rare case that your package is not received. 

•  Calexico does not offer free returns on international orders posted back for exchange or returns. 

•   We do not offer refunds or exchanges on SALE items or items included in any flash promotion. This policy is strictly for full price items only. 

 

Online Exchange Policy

Calexico will exchange an item within 7 days of receipt of your order with the following conditions:

•   All exchanges are based on stock availability.

•   If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in a different size, subject to availability.

•   If you wish to exchange your product for an alternative style, it is advised that you request a store credit and purchase the new product separately on our e-boutique.

•   To secure your desired product, please ensure you list the full details of your new request (e.g. style name, colour and size) when you request a RAN (Return Authorisation Number) from shop@calexico.com.au.

•   Calexico will attempt to fill your exchange as best as possible, however, it is not guaranteed your request will be available.

•   Calexico offers free returns to domestic Australian orders ONLY. The amount of shipping will be refunded once an enclosed receipt with shipping amount is received with the package from a valid Australia Post business. If there is no receipt enclosed, we cannot offer a refund of the shipping amount. 

•  Calexico does not offer free returns on international orders posted back for exchange or returns. 

•   We do not offer exchanges on SALE items or items included in any flash promotion. This policy is strictly for full price items only.

How to Return an Exchange

To return or exchange an order, please follow these simple steps:

•   Request a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) from Calexico by emailing shop@calexico.com.au immediately after receiving your delivery.

•   Please include the following information in your email: Full name, order number, item(s) purchased and reason for return or exchange. If you are requesting an exchange please list the full details of your new request (e.g. style name, colour and size).

•   Once we have confirmed the return details, we will send you an email that will contain your RAN and information on how to return your parcel.

•   Send your parcel from your closest Australia or International Post. 

•   We don’t take responsibility for garments returned without a tracking number.

•   Garments must be returned in the condition outlined above with the original invoice included.

•   The customer will be notified by email once the return has been received and processed.

•  For Australian orders, we will refund the shipping amount once we have received the parcel with a receipt from a verified Australia Post business. 

•   We do not refund return shipping costs from international orders. This is the responsibility of the sender. 


Receiving a Credit or Refund

If you would like to request a refund from Calexico, please note the following information: 

•   All refunds or credit notes will be processed within 24 hours of receiving the product at Calexico.

•   The customer will be notified by email once the credit note or refund has been processed.

•   You will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

•   Please note that original shipping charges or related expense e.g. duties and/or import taxes will not be refunded on international orders. If required, contact your local custom offices to receive additional information.

•   Once a refund is processed, your financial institution can take 3 – 7 business days to process the funds back into your account.

•   Your credit note will be valid for a year from the issue date. 

•   Please note: online credit notes cannot be used toward in store items. If you would like to use your online credit on a non-sale item in store, please contact customerservice@calexico.com.au for more information. 

•   We do not offer refunds on SALE items so please choose carefully.

Faulty Items

All items are thoroughly checked for quality before sending to our customers; however, if you strongly believe an item is faulty, please note the following:

•   Faulty items will only be accepted if the garment is delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault identified on receipt of purchase.

•   Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty and returned to the customer.

•   Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items but only where such items are deemed faulty or repairable. Repairs, however, do not come with a guarantee.

•   If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability.

•  If an item cannot be repaired or replaced, the customer will receive a full refund.
